PAVING BLOCKS AND FLAGS
Products cast semi-dry in a block making machine (consolidations through vibration and pressure). White cement is usually only used in the top layer of two-layered products. The surface can be smooth, shot blasted, washed or polished. There are not required any grout in the application of the products
CAST STONE ARCHITECTURAL DRESSINGS AND GARDEN ORNAMENTS
Semi-dry cast products intended to resemble in appearance, and which may be used in a similar way to, natural stone. Can be decorative but also load bearing. Produced in moulds typically using an air-driven tamping device. Ideal for architectural dressings that call for fine details.
MASONRY BLOCKS
UHPC is the emerging concrete technology for slim aesthetic and structural concrete elements with high mechanical, chromatic and durability performance. Peculiar and consistent quality of AALBORG WHITE® make it all possible.
TILES
One or two layered products where the top layer is wet cast. The surface is dense and strong and typically polished. Tiles require a cement based or likewise hardening grout when applied.
Definition
Semi-dry cast products consolidated in moulds or forms by tamping devices or vibration under pressure in concrete plants. The fresh cast products are form stable and can therefore immediately be de-moulded and then cured in a controlled environment. The products are palletized, stored and sold.
