As the third Universal Studios in Asia and the fifth Universal Studios in the world, Beijing Universal Studio Theme Park has been built for 20 years with an investment of about 100 billion RMB.

The first phase includes seven IP theme attractions including Harry Potter, Transformers and Kung Fu Panda. The second phase plans to build a theme park with Chinese elements and introduce Chinese culture and IP like the Monkey King. The third phase is to build a water park and its area is three times that of Universal Studios in Osaka and five times that of Universal Studios in Singapore.

Aalborg White cement is proud to work with Shaanxi JuJiang Art Concrete for façade system construction of “Hollywood Boulevard”, “Majestic Theatre” and “Chocolate Restaurant in the CityWalk”. 

The construction of Hollywood Boulevard recreates scenes from many famous Hollywood movies. As the only way for visitors to enter the park, it becomes a landmark attraction based on its magnificent theme elements. With years of experience in architectural concrete and the engravers who specializes in large, delicate buildings, the building details of Hollywood Boulevard have been perfected by JuJiang Art Concrete.

Majestic Theater of the Hollywood land is the largest and the most complex theater in the park. The theater has 1,500+ seating capacity and is magnificent in style with a well-proportioned structure and delicate details, fully demonstrating the features of Chinese traditional architecture enhanced with GRC facade decorative elements in rich textures and colors.

The construction process of Majestic Theater was also the most tortuous. In October 2020, main facade GRC construction was concluded, and the 10-month facade modification work was officially completed. In September 2019, the overall architectural style of the entrance ushered in a subversive adjustment when its steel structure was completed, experiencing from the overall demolition of the steel structure, structural modification, remodeling, deepening design, secondary GRC installation, repair, grinding to color, among other construction stages. After repeated communication and determination of several schemes with the owner, JuJiang made breakthroughs in several technologies and finally completed the impossible theater door construction work as scheduled.
