Chengdu jingchuan office building | UHPC facade

Located in Chengdu, Sichuan province, this project is quite closed to Shuang Liu Industrial Park near Chengdu Shuang Liu International airport.

Replacing the traditional façade in metal or in brick, the architect carried out a bold innovation on façade material, choosing light colored Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) panels with the Brazilian rock finishes to create the nature and robust exterior wall.

The large size of panels up to 3*1.1m in vertical installation lengthened the visual appearance of the building, resulting in the spectacular impression. It’s worth to mention that high purity and stable Aalborg White® cement mixing with aggregates of different colors endows UHPC façade with rich tone: 0°to 50°different degrees shades of white and beige color to reach the visual impact. This building enjoys its unique appearance given by White Cement in this industrial park with own architectural aesthetic glamour.
