CPIC Xintiandi Commercial Center , situated in the eastern section of the Taipingqiao area in Shanghai Xintiandi, is a joint venture developed by China Pacific Insurance Life, Shui On Land, and Shanghai Yongye Group. Co-designed by prominent architectural firms, including Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), Kokaistudios, the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute, and WSP, the complex consists of a 250-meter landmark super Grade-A office tower, two Grade-A office buildings approximately 100 meters tall, and commercial podiums.
The podiums of the project features GRC panels with a rich variety of textures and forms, offering six surface finishes: matte white terrazzo, pure white exposed aggregate, ivory white exposed aggregate, gray exposed aggregate, dark gray exposed aggregate, and matte gray sanded surfaces. Each finish comes in three panel types: flat, folded, and curved. Covering a total area of 11,000 square meters, all GRC panels are manufactured using Aalborg White cement.
