Søren H. Rasmussen revisited the Iceberg residential buildings in Aarhus after 10 years. The white polished concrete architecture, built in 2013, remains pristine, showcasing its aesthetic durability with a smooth and glossy surface free of dirt and algae. This building sets new standards for modern residential quality and aesthetics, influencing urban development in Denmark and Europe.

The project was designed collaboratively by Danish architectural firms CEBRA and JDS Architects, the Dutch firm SeARCH, and the French firm Louis Paillard. The precast white concrete elements were produced by Boligbeton A/S, using Aalborg White CEM I 52.5 R – SR5 from Cementir’s Aalborg plant.
