The impressive New Materials R&D Center of China Southwest Architecture Design Institute boasts a building area of approximately 250,000 square meters. It features 12000m2 GRC claddings, using Aalborg White cement.

The GRC panels, with their vertical stripe texture, flawlessly blend with the perforated UHPC panels. The white concrete facade design is concise and contemporary, standing out from the rest of the zone.

The phase I project includes 1 New Materials Research Institute and 3 R&D bases. These establishments are composed of the Institute of Silicate Science, the Composite Green Building Materials Research Base, the New Additive Research Base, and the Research Base for new wall materials used in industrialization and construction.
