One of the most striking features of this modernist office building project in Bezannes are the flat and curved horizontal sun-screens made with Aalborg Extreme UHPC.
As the part of the main structure, slender UHPC sun-screens in light color produced by Delmar Betsinor not only has enhanced the aesthetic perception of the building, but serves as functionality, filtering natural light into offices, creating a game of light and shadow for the interior space.
Aalborg Extreme UHPC has excellent fluidity and can be fully mixed with stainless steel fibers to produce UHPC components with a smooth surface, uniform color, high ductility and high compressive strength.
The project aims to create a more sustainable environment for employees through setting gardens and relaxation areas on both ground floor and roof terrace striving for BREEAM Excellent Certification.
