Aesthetically chic concrete pool deck lounge chairs of beautiful stone finishing designed by renowned Malaysian landscape architect WDI Design and constructed by Pioneer Process in2018.

Miniatures were first made to 1:6th of the actual size to thoroughly fine-tune the accuracy of the chairs ergonomic design before creating the working mould. The actual body size is then created through a scanning enlargement technique and the working mould is created from there.

The stone finishing surface is made using GFRS technology based on Aalborg White® Cement. The overall thickness is built up to 18mm and the entire structure is enforced using galvanized steel sub-frames. After demoulding, the surface is carefully profiled to various degrees to expose the aggregates and create a polished stone surface.

The inner surfaces of the seat are protected with water repellent impregnator whereas the outer surfaces are protected with 2 coats of high performance clear sealer.
