York&Co is a leading example of restorative design, combining historic charm with modern amenities in the heart of the CBD Sydney. Originally built in 1886 and now transformed into a boutique A-grade commercial space, 32-34 York Street was once a grand warehouse for Robert Reid & Co. Its bright, airy charm has been retained through SJB Architecture’s new design. The most striking feature of the façade is the terracotta-colored UHPC slim slats, made with Excel premix UHPC, which harmonize with the warm hues of the surrounding buildings in the city's Western Heritage Precinct. These UHPC slats were produced by AUGRC Australia, a leading manufacturer of Glass Reinforced Concrete.
